Vamos a pararnos aquí para ver si encuentro el vestido negro que tengo que ponerme mañana.

Let´s stop here to see if I can find the black dress I have to wear tomorrow.

Hija

Pero mami, tengo que llegar a la casa a hacer un trabajo. No me va a dar tiempo terminarlo.

But mom, I have to get home to work on a project. I won’t have much time to finish it…

Madre

Ay mija eso es un disparate. Lo haces ahorita. Ven acompáñame a medirme para que me digas si me queda bien.

Oh darling, that is very easy. You can do it later. Come with me to try it on and tell me if it looks good on me.

Hija
Pero un chin namá’. No tengo mucho tiempo.

But just for a bit. I don’t have much time.

Madre

Mira vamos a entrar a esta tienda que solo venden ropa blanca y negra. Vamos a ver….

Look let’s enter this store which only sells black and white clothing. Let´s see…

Hija

Está bien… ¡Ay mira! Este vestido está nítido. Ven a ver.

Madre

Hija

Juye mami, que va a caer el real aguacero y la jeepetatá parquea’ afuera.
